Glad it worked for you mate! Nice Job! Is that one coat of the Miracle 511 S&E or two?
By the way pay no attention to the numptys post above. PAS is a much safer alternative to that cr*p from B&Q even though it is £3.59 more in price. I just checked your invoice as well and we owe you a credit of £25 off your next order. If you ring me on 07770 598855 I will explain! By the way who did you put the order through?

Very impressed with the pas Kev.
Abby ( poor thing had a terrible cough ! ) but excellent telephone manner.

Did you tell her it was Trade and you were off the CIU?
She overcharged you on the PAS and didn't give you the 20% CIU discount so you have a £25 credit off your next order and I have switched your account to Trade as she had you down as a Retail Telephone Sale. Sorry about that!

And poor old Abby was looking forward to Friday!

Serious question...your acid substitute is a salt, high corrosive , it will burn flesh(?)and is poisonous to fish.
Why is it safer?
-
I wasn't aware there was a discount to be had !!!!
So no fault at your end, credit very welcome I shall be back for more stuff!

Kevin..
It's a genuine question.....i'm always looking for the safer alternative.

So why recommend a Hydrochloric Acid over a Phosphoric then?

So why recommend a Hydrochloric Acid over a Phosphoric then?
Cause it's cheap ,you can get it anywhere and it will work on that job.

Is that how you work - cause it's cheap ? Screw the environment, f**k not only your safety but others as well...

Far from it..
Kevin has implied to you that his product is safer to the environment (your working and otherwise) . I do not see how...did you read the labeling and the data sheet?
-
Yes...
Darran

Corrosive ,dead fish?
-
Will cause burns, don't recall a dead fish label on the back, would have to check, however washing up liquid will kill fish...
I'm not sure what points your trying to make Chris, and Im not really interested in being used as a means to score cheap points against other members of the forum,
Kevin supplied me with information on tackling a job I've not done before, after looking at some options and products I brought from Kevin - this thread was about thanking someone who had helped me out with advise, not a product bashing exercise..
Roger has done the same regarding a large Ipe deck job. And rob gave some guidance over a van mounted pressure washing system, all these guys get my respect because they give sound advice without expecting anything in return
Hope this helps
