Title: limestone fireplace - FAO kevin martin
Post by: Roland S on November 01, 2014, 03:37:18 pm
hi kevin

i've just bought a 2 year old newman portugese limestone fireplace for my own home. i've just recieved some ltp stoneseal (aerosol) from your ebay shop but having picked up the fireplace it's a bit dirty in places - nothing terrible but needs a bit of a clean - so I want to clean it before sealing it. the person i bought the fireplace from didn't know if it was sealed when originally fitted (although i'm guessing a £2k fireplace would have been). would the ltp stone foam cleaner be the best thing to use?

thanks in advance

roland

here's some photo's it's only these 2 pieces that are dirty. i just wasn't sure if i should use the ltp stonefoam or ltp stonecare before (re)sealing it. will the stonefoam damage or discolour the limestone in any way?
