I've never had a problem with fairy or brick dust we do a lot of build cleans, as long as you clean the window right you will not have a problem.

I no what your saying, after the mastic man has done his thing with water and fairy it bubbles up like mad. Like I say bubbles, brick dust etc and never really had much spotting but they are new windows in our case.

Two things that stick out to me..........
[1] You don't need to be well below 10 on a reading to not leave spots. Infact i've cleaned with a reading of 30 odd and not left spots.

[2] Window Cleaners for years have been leaving a film of "fairy" on the windows they've cleaned, and they look fine. What suprised you over that ?

I was about to post that especially when the sun is low in the sky.

Amongst other nasties, good old fairy contain silicone for those hands that do dishes can be soft as your face..........

Hi Ross, i recently had a call from a window cleaner who has a great domestic round in his local town, he wanted to do more shop fronts but found it hard as the store owners were very loyal to their regular window cleaners who were doing the outsides once a week and the insides once a month with squeegees pads and wash up liquid, i asked him to meet me in his local high street at 10 pm, my reason was at night time when the shop lights are on they show up the residues left behind on the glass from using wash up liquid, i gave him a lesson on how to clean shop fronts (without using wash up liquid) now he has plenty of the store owners as regulars. and the moral of story is leave the wash up liquid for the dishes.

You need to test the TDS of the water you're usng with the Fairy in. It might have made a whole loads of bubbles but with relatively little Fairy used.

Hi Darran, i use a micelles based heavy duty cleaner diluted at 60 to 1 for blading.

And what's the difference with it?

Hi Darran, micelles technology makes water become  super wet and leaves a smear free finish on glass when diluted at the correct ratio, just one of the many uses for this technology.

I've seen a you tube of Wagga putting ecover in the pure without it changing the TDS.
I had a load of washing liquid in the tank before when filling the other guy nocked it into the tank and walked off.
Cost me about an hour to get it cleaned out >:(
