Title: deal from wcw ?
Post by: richard groves on October 24, 2014, 06:27:54 pm
Anybody else get the text the other morning from window cleaning warehouse ?
Big boy 22l  backpack and renegade 25 ft pole for £150 + vat.
On face value sounds a good deal ?
Not that I need either but a mate asked what I thought as he has considered buying a backpack, are they just trying to shift old stock of poles ? know nothing of the renegade ( think its facelift and aluminium ), is it any good ?

The text I had was for a bag of resin for £50 which also sounds a good deal but it had to be picked up in person.

I've just checked my mobile and the text from WCW does say 25' pole and backpack, etc.

Maybe it's a Brighton area only thing?

The text for the resin at £50. That text I assumed was from WCW but it's from someone who I sometimes get pure water from in Dartford, Kent.

Weird?  ???

What sun? Working to hard - no chance.

I think what it was that I got a text about resin which I read, and then a text from WCW which I didn't read until just now. When I looked at my phone a few days ago, which I do once a day religiously, the text summary was from WCW so I assumed etc.....

I think.

Life can get complex can't it.  ???

Lol.
That was from Mick Kent.

WCW text was different text.
I'd imagine the pole is a POS and the backpack is half decent.
Between the pair of 'em it's a halfway decent deal

No, not Mick Kent.

It was from a bloke called Colin who sometimes advertises pure water for sale on eBay.

It says 'Window Cleaning Resin, 25l bag Mb115 £49 pick up Dartford, Kent, DA2 8DX. We are the cheapest in the UK - Purolite - Unger - Tulsion'

Added after for anyone local who might be interested, his phone number 07565 060 0190

I got the same text-I replied "Mick it's 11pm-at least stick to office hours"
He replied "sorry" didn't correct me that it wasn't him (with hindsight I see why)
Just assumed it was him.

Does Mick Kent live in Kent?

If he does, then his surname is quite a coincidence.  ;D

I see you are from Brighton, I'm just back from Tenerife, got speaking to a bloke from Brighton who owns a chip shop and a crazy golf course near the big wheel.

He does get some pretty students working there during the summer though.   ;D
