What's the best way to clean & polish marble tiles in a kitchen.
They are not very old & been looked after but the customer just wants them cleaned & to shine a bit.
I have a t/m, hard floor wand & rotary, wondering what solution to use ?
Thanks

How bad is it?
Is it polished?
What contaminants does it have on it?
Are you going to do it by hand?
If machine which one?
What colour is it?
Any photos?

Hi Kevin,
The tiles are about 1' x 1.5', light cream colour & have just lost their sheen really, not badly scratched. The kitchen is about 4x3 mtrs.
Thanks

If the tiles are laid virtually flat then follow the intructions below:
1. Swiffer floor with flat swiffer mop impregnated with Molt Net Silicone Spray to remove all dust and grit.
2. Clean floor with a pH Neutral Cleaner using your rotary fitted with a soft white pad.
3. Extract with wet vacuum.
4. Fit your rotary with a natural hair pad.
5. Pre wet a small area with plain water.
6. Sprinkle a little Klindex KP 85 Powder onto wet area.
7. Work in with rotary until powder turns to a yoghurt consistency.
8. Pulkl to one side with a squeegee to check shine.
9. If OK Rinse and extract.
10 Repeat on whole floor.
11. Buff with soft dry bonnet.
12. Seal with Miracle 511 Original.

It is white marble which you can see except its has blackish dirt all over it. When it was last done it was 10 years ago and came up startling white by the stone restorers. Its our family plot and we buried my mum last year so it all had to be dismantled. Due to go back in about 3 months so wanted to clean it by hand myself. Thanks

Hi Kevin,
I have been to see the kitchen floor & a small section has a few scratches from a washing machine being moved. I think a general clean & polish will suffice for the rest but this area may need something a bit extra, any suggestions ? Its probably about 2' x 2' area, so not huge.
