Title: end of tenancy cleans - which equipment?
Post by: dmckellar on October 20, 2014, 04:10:40 pm
Hello everyone,

I currently run a company that only deals in builders cleans for some large house builders, we received a call to ask if we would be interested in working with them, they rent out some houses they've taken in part exchange and have asked if we would do an end of tenancy clean on them prior to sale.

Not something i've done before, but ive got good cleaners from the builders side of it.

Without trying to sound daft - what good equipment would be needed? a good industrial steam cleaner, carpet shampooer etc?

cheers,
David

Hi David, we do end of tenancy cleans for a private letting agent and tbh some are poo holes, drug stuff and the like to clean away.. All you need is a good vacuum I.e George or such like and a reasonable carpet washer somthing like a bissell, thats what we use. And you should be on the right track. If you need any more help give me a knock. 8)  8)

Hi David,

you really need a good vacuum cleaner and some professional detergents for the oven, the bathroom, etc. If professional carpet cleaning is included in the EOT clean then you will need professional carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment as well.

Petrol can and a match depending on what the last tenants were like.
