Title: tank filters , membranes

any body know if a filtration system inc membranes hasnt been used for a long time like 6 months or so, will they be had it and need replacing??

If it's been left to dry out its buggered.
( that's what I was told )

You always run it and see what results you get

thought so and being ionics will be a fortune to replace filters membrane etc

Why not test run it ? Put the pure to a drain and see what it reads after an hour.

You can put a teaspoon of bleach in to kill any bacterial build up

Some of the filters would be OK /ones I think would be possible problems would be resin and ro. I would take resin off and see what the ro is reading if ok. 30'' resin £100.

its not mine just saw something for sale but hasnt been used in a while and was worried it would cost a fortune for new filters etc, its miles away so dont wanna waste my time and fuel going over to it

Always presume that you will have to replace all filters and take that into consideration when bidding. If someone else outbids you then so what. Maybe you know something they don't.
