Hello everyone! Im new to this forum so please be gentle with me! I am starting an ironing service and am looking for advice on how much I should charge. I have done some research into exsisting companies but the prices vary greatly from price per item to price for weight. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Yes, you will find that the pricing differs from compnay to company.
At the moment, we only offer it to some customers, who are flexible, on a one-off basis - nothing regular.
I was over my brothers at the weekend and he had someone in who was doing it for (I think) £0.75/kg, but don't hold me to that figure.

This question has been asked (and answered!) a number of times recently.
So I would suggest a search using terms like "ironing" or anything else that might also throw up the relevant threads.
I don't want to appear rude or unhelpful but people are understandably reluctant to go over the same ground again and again.
So welcome aboard, best of luck and sorry I can't contribute anything on the subject buts its not soemthing we do!

Hi, as Mick has stated you will find plenty of questions and answers about ironing under the search facility.
We as a company do not do a great deal of ironing, but we have found that it is just as easy to charge on an hourly rate, as to a piece rate. Therefore, we charge £9.00 hr, or part of.
However, with this not bieng the main source of income from our business, I am not 100% sure if this is the most cost effective way, profitable, but it works for us.
Kind regards
Paul
