Title: Fitting reels to outside of rear doors !

I have been thinking of fixing the reels to the outside of the back doors, does anyone else do this, and how do you prevent the lights etc getting scratched ?

IMO your just asking for problems.

The best external setup I've seen is soupy's - not strictly external but a great setup


I'd go with a roller set up in the bumper than hang a reel off the door
