Title: white streaks on leaded glass

Had a real problem trying to get white streaks on leaded glass today. had to concede and said I would pick the brains of people on here! Thanks in advance

Do you mean the glass had streaks before you started? If so I think the lead is leaching. Personally I would just clean as usual and tell the customer that he's stuck with the marks.

I've had this issue on new leaded windows before. I just scrubbed them with a soapy applicator then wfp them afterwards. After a few cleans it does come off.

try search on here   lead stains lead oxide stains cant be removed easy but will fade in time connies that havent been patinated  are the worst

How long before you get collar felt having a p*** against a bedroom window in the middle of town or maybe woman inside will feel something else  :P
