Post by: richywilts on October 08, 2014, 02:47:20 pm
ive got a combo van with a small metal bulkhead about 12-15 inches high, i get quite a bit of water in the back thru various leaks etc is there any way i could stop the water running down and under the bulkhead in to the cab the carpets are a bit wrecked and soaked thru now, ive not looked at it yet just thought id post on here first see what ideas people come up with as just taking it local car wash for a valet

common fault apparently ... my combo came with no carpets and no rubber bungs in floor .... I pretend its a rally car  ;D ... (I don't really honest) ...

my advice rip carpet out ... remove bungs .. clean windows and don't waste time on it  :)

Combos leak through from under the bonnet into the driver door-well. A seal goes in the bulkhead, I think it's the one where the steering wheel column goes through the metalwork.

Use the membrane and sealer the roofers use.The none heat one.
