Glass or polycarbonate?

Poly, you can use any of the non caustic tfr's' g101, ubik, these can be brought from motor factors, caravan suppliers, hardware shops

If glass, check if it's self cleaning, if it is don't use the above, stick to pure water

Jsk do a good Eco cleaner which has worked well on glass roofs

Washing up liquid or if really bad add some Cif Floor cleaner.  ;)
Both available in supermarkets.
No need for exotic fancy chemicals in my opinion.

Have you ever damaged a roof using TFR?
Have you ever seen one that has been damaged by TFR if not by you?
Do you have any pictures?

What is it that's supposedly getting stained, UPVC or the plastic roof.

The sample i gave to Darran is a new technology we are looking at from India, initial testing is going well but we have asked them to change it a little so that it is safe and effective on any surface, if they can get it right we hope that it will be as effective as many of the products that are usually recommended for uPVC but without any harmful ingredients, once its finished i will be happy to give out some samples to judge any feedback received.           Regards Tadgh
