Title: Help With ...Granite ???

Hi,

I came across this floor today..Im assuming that it is granite but cannot be sure..It has the same appearance of granite but it is as if it is covered beneath a glass sheet,  ???.
Also , it is very cloudy/ smudge like in parts. So I hope someone can help here. 1. in Identification and 2. cleaning process to remove this cloudy appearance.
