Just reading another post where folk do this.
Surely this is madness :o

I have tried once and the blade drags so I can't see how it is possible.

I have to, on one old lady's house,only the ground floor one , she says she don't like the water left on the glass.
It's time I got rid

It is madness.
But at the same time only takes seconds as you don't need to detail with a scrim, so if people think it's worth it then it's not a massive dent in their earnings.

Gary999 apparently does this as well on problem windows. There's too much rubber judder, so are you blading it from top to bottom only.

I do on quite a few of my downstairs fronts as it looks good when they come out to pay but only because i feel guilty charging them £10 for 2mins work :o

yep :) i just use straight pulls mainly no need for anything else.

i do only on the odd window here and there due to terrible top rubber seals!about 3 times a month. :)

I once tried it for much the same reason but the blade didn't feel right so never again ;D
