Title: Superlite sill brush
Post by: Blackadder on September 29, 2014, 05:28:51 am
Guys, not sure if this is a regular issue but have an SLX 25, not had it too long, one of the pencil jets is coming out slower on one side? Have given it a thorough clean out and blow through but still seems to be happening, any ideas?

Is the water jet restricted by the bristles?

I had a similar issue sometime ago

Maybe different size jets have been used by mistake.

It's definitely not different jet size as it's been fine for over a month, will give it another once over, maybe have missed something obvious!

If this happens it is usually because something is partially blocking the hose feeding the jet - sometimes this can be an almost translucent piece of grit or something which is difficult to see. Often when turning the water flow off to have a look it will retract back inside the tube away from the jet making making it harder to spot.

To get rid of it disconnect the jet hose from the jet (pour a little boiling water over it is to make this easier) and then let the water flow through and this should flush it out.
