Title: what pole next up from clx 27
Post by: JSMC on September 26, 2014, 05:30:44 am
I have clx 27 with extra extension but i have been thinking of getting something a bit bigger n going hunting for some higher work. I have my trusty old 35 hybrid extel for odd job here n there. Good for a workout.

If you have the dosh then an extreme would be the way forward, don't have any myself but lots of good reports.

We use the sl2 for high stuff which is a great pole

Whats the slx27 like with a extension? Mines already really heavy and whippy when fully streched thats without the extension

You don't get a SLX 27, do you mean a CLX 27?

Don't be expecting and huge difference when going from the CLX27 to a SLX30 and above I still
find my SLX30 very whippy over conservatory roofs and so on.
But nothing compared to a 35ft xtel I still have pains from using my 30ft xtel 4 years ago.

Agreed, SLX-35 gets whippy at height. 20' and it's fine.
