Arthurs,

Place an ozone generator for 24 hours.

Believe me the smell will be gone.

Best regards,

Mix 2 tablespoons of bicarbonate of soda baking powder in a sprayer with water and spray on of coarse, leave to soak for 20 mins.

Rinse extract off with water or machine and hey presto the smell is gone.

If the problem has gone underneath then you'll have to lift carpet.

I should charge for this advice because it works!

My birthday is on 2nd of August every year. All presents will be gratfully recieved!

a product called microclean by bio productions is an enzyme cleaner that is excellent product for removing organic stains etc. Might need a couple of applications but works a treat. good for getting rid of milk spillage smells also.
