Any trad guys been tempted to buy one for the little georgian windows? If so is it any good?
-
We use them, but not for Georgian windows as it's quicker and easier to microfibre them with white vinegar

If you find yourself considering using a window vac at any point in future, just leave the job to a window cleaner. HTH

Embrace modern technology boys, customers are really impressed if you use the old window vac for the insides 😄😄

These things are only good for inside con roof.
Not much good for anything else your better off with a squeegee.

Yes mate.
No good for school cleans and large commercial jobs as they don't last long enough, but we can get around a house much easier with the vac.

Don't believe ya Smudger, you've been in this game long enough to be fast / good enough with the tools.

Maybe, but the vac is even quicker 😎😎😎😎😎

Smudged your just giving residents ideas why don't they just buy one and do it themselves nice one good way to lose work !!!!
What's with the pics I use to do that in primary schools lol !!!!

Thanks guys. I just think you use whatever tool does the job easiest and cleanest. As for customers getting ideas to do their own windows...well most of our customers cook but it doesn't stop them going out for the odd meal.
Darran: Are they heavy? Realistically how long does the battery last? Can you get small blades (I'm thinking Georgian windows)?
-
Danny - what ideas would it give them? Because you can buy any old squeegee/ window cleaning kit from hardware shops and kleenezee etc for a couple of quid, so I'm sure the £50 for a vac is more of a deterrent.
No not that heavy, yes there is a small head but I'd still do Georgian squares with a cloth

Thank you.

Sorry forgot to say battery lasts around 20 mins that's normally good enough to do six average size houses ( remember it's not running all the time )
