My SLX 25 only just reaches 2nd floor windows now because when i upgraded the clamps i cut too much off the pole oops ;D ;D
I'll have to order a extension section for it

BIG BIG mistake, never cut the pole rather cut the clamps. Use a hacksaw. I did that last year and now my pole is stuffed, its keeps splitting on the end and breaking.
never again....

I can reach 3rd storey windows with my Clx-22 ! However much did you cut off ?

I took about 3-4 inches of each section to remove the worn parts and to be honest it will be the last time i do it, i would rather have a nice new shinny pole ;D ;D
The slx 25 is now a slx 22 great for every day work but not big enough for second floor and above.

I take it you mean ground, 1st, 2nd floor as in three storeys total and the upper storey is no longer reachable?
