Title: what detergents and special potions in your locker

following on from the limescale posts im just getting back into things i would like to stock up with a variety of detergents etc that come in handy when window cleaning what products does everybody recommend

obv
virosol
tfr
g101
brillo pads

but what other products come in handy

I normally have fairy liquid, solvent upvc cleaner, virosol, Unger liquid and hypo in the van which covers most stuff but could do with some tfr.

gg3,squeegee off,virosol,cif cream cleaner.

KY Gel for Pole lubrication. Does not denigrate the rubber or latex hosing/tubing either and is water soluable.Always have a tub on the dash.

is that serious regarding ky gel, i was thinking of getting some ptfe spray for my poles

I always used PTFE before, then my partner, Mark, introduced me to KY. The arguements we had over it, Jesus, there was no living with him. But yes, as it turns out KY is far superior. And of course you can use it for other things.
