Received my clx 22 today and its a nice bit of kit my only issue is the brush head seems really loose ie if I clean from side side it swivels and without much work comes away from the pole itself.
What have I done wrong
-
Here are 2 pictures of where in having the issue ie one how I think it should look and the other where it comes loose
-
Now that is funny. Perhaps you got the left handed version by mistake.

Almost as funny as your helpful reply

That dont look like a gardiner pole were is the clamp.
-
Mine has a clamp to hold the gooseneck in place, alex will be on soon to sort you out.

A That lever needs clamping up
B The pole is upside down. Put the brush in at the other end ;)

hi kevin
where did you get it from? was it actually from gardiners? i say that because the CLX 22 is red not black. and there should be a clamp at the top of the pole to tighten the neck of the brush

the new clxs I think have a bit of black at the bottom of the sections to warn you are near the end on the pole when extending

This has to be the second wind up of the night. Lol

Funny though, plus he would have extended the pole upside down.
Out of curiosity, I'm going to try that tomorrow just to see.
Once, a few years back when I employed a so called 'experienced' window cleaner, he managed somehow to extend a ladder upside down.

I use an 'upside-down' pole ???.......when doing trad instead of WFP.
It's a 'Swimming Pool' pole and they extend from the handle end....much easier in use when extending and shortening the pole compared to my Unger trad pole.

Its not nice to be the "Butt end of a joke" LOL!
