Chatting to a custy today she was moaning about the cost of living etc. how hard it is to afford everything so I say to her yes I guess your in a similar position to my family (knowing that she has 2 kids of a similar age to mine, similar house, car Etc...) her reply -
Well I'm not sure about that , we have DECENT jobs you know !! Hahaha made me chuckle

Good Post Pete, some peoples perception of us amounts to sheer snobbery & ignorance and that we are the lowest of the
food chain, like you said best thing is to laugh it up.

I dont know how much you charge her or how long the job takes. But she cant be that smart a cookie if she works in admin and cannot rustle a rough guess as to your average days earnings ;D

That's exactly what I said to my mate about it. £13 house , next door the same she knows how long they take, about 50 minutes the pair!
Anyway I'm off down the Royal Mail just filled in my application form
