Alright lads,

Has anyone used Google Adwords?

If so what do you think?

Any good results?

Hi Caleb,

I used for about 3-4 months and spent a small fortune with very little results. I would focus on getting a good optimised website(if you haven't already got one) and get up the organic rankings on google. I thought adwords would have worked as it put me right up the top but i was lucky to get 2 calls a week..

I would go for smaller advertising like checkatrade,local magazines etc. Defo spend money on getting a good website.

I used it and it worked well for me but:
You need to know how to set it up properly and effectively (it's not that easy if you don't know what you're doing)
You need a good website to run off the back of it.
I shall start using it again soon as I find you get less messers as the winter sets in.
