Got a call today from a co. i contract for asking if i would be able to reduce the rate i charge for builders cleans.
NO.Not really.
They're always a good 4 months behind on payment
It makes me fall constantly behind on residential work
.Sometimes i only get 24 hours notice for work they want carried out.
I have to wear a harness for ladder work[and theres a lot of it] and use a stabilizer
DIGGERS DRIVING ALL OVER MY HOSE.
If it rains its like the Somme.Hard hats in hot weather.
Sand in my pole
Windows and fascia covered in tape and or cement, sometimes both.
Inductions at 10 am every new site, ruining a full days work.
Working around everyone whos far more important than the windy
And soon as your packing away some strikes up a stihl saw.
Rant over :'(

I dont even do them anymore can't be doing with them.. Too much like hard work when you can be concentrating on your regulars .. easy income easy life specially in this weather :)

You need to be making a lot more than you do normally. Otherwise it's not worth it.
