Title: Adapting the gardener super scaper to work with aquadapter
Post by: chez on September 10, 2014, 05:38:01 pm
Hey all. Just bought an slx 22 but I like the aquadapter. Unfortunately the super scraper (which is brill) only fits on the goose neck but the set up with the aquadapter won't allow me to fit the scraper until now...
I adapted the super light head by drilling a hole in the brush head and then fitting spacers on the longer screws. It actually is a better position on the pole this way and so far I have been able to scrape every window needed even if I'm in a tight position say, close to the wall. If you want detailed pics then just ask but it really is worth it. Have two poles I've adjusted now so as have a super scraper on each.
Cheers chez

Cheers, takes about 15 mins to do. I've got some rounds where there is a lot of "bee pooh" and it doesn't matter how much you scrub it just won't come off. So I have to have a scraper for upstairs. Really easy to just flip the head upside down and scrape away!!

Do you think the scraper would work with 90 deg socket?

Has it got an adjustable angle or is it fixed 90 deg?
