Title: Kitchen extraction hood cleaning
Post by: james oneill on September 04, 2014, 10:26:48 pm
Hi folks.

Does anyone have experience in commercial kitchen extraction hood cleaning?

I have a job booked in a few weeks time for a small restaurant. I clean the carpets, upholstery and flooring on a regular basis. The owner asked if i could do the cooker hood, cooker, ovens and fryers. I told him i'd do a bit of research and get back to him.

I was planning on hiring a Pro vap evo vac steam extractor. It's rated at 180 degrees at 9 bar pressure.

would this be sufficient to tackle the job or should i be looking at a diesel burning hot pressure washer.

Also does anyone have any favourite chemicals for degreasing etc. ?

And finally does anyone have a rough guide for pricing the job. It's a 6 burner cooker, double oven and double fryer.

Thanks guys.

Jamie.
