Title: Aqua adapter not turning on of

The 4 prong wheel ( on of switch ) on My aqua adapter has started to get caught on the trigger , stoping it from turning on and of .
I tried taking out trigger and cleaning it wich worked for a week but now it has started again and cleaning trigger doesn,t rectify it.
it is only a couple of months old.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Dirt in the spring at the side ( or broken ) that pulls the striker back up after the 'tap' has gone past.

The other thing could be the carriage has some dirt in it, making it a little tight and not turning the tap fully when pulled, washout with pure then spray with some PTFE spray until nice and loose

This isn't as silly as it sounds! Put the whole adapter in a basin of warm soapy water and give it a good scrubbing with a dish washing brush. Rinse and shake dry then reattach ! In the unlikely event that it doesn't work then pull the flywheel off and clean and replace. They click off and on easy enough.
