Title: Conservatory roof/ fascia. Brush?
Post by: jimlaffo on September 03, 2014, 12:21:13 am
Hi, I have a Gardiner pole, was wondering which is the best type of brush for when fascias and cons roofs are really dirty? I have a regular brush for the windows but can anyone recommend a stronger brush to tackle the more stubborn grime?
Thanks

I use an old sill brush but its a bit soft for really dirty jobs so im going to try the stiff sill brush from gardiners.

One of the best scrubbing brushes we currently do is the Flocked Super-Lite - http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/the-super-lite-brush-dual-trim-flocked-standard-splay.html

Hi Alex

Are they that much better than normal unflocked brushes for removing snail trails? I don't know what it is but it seems this year has been the worst yet for the blighters!

They are a bit better - However so are the Xtreme Hybrid brushes with the blue nylon inner bristles - http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/The-Super-Lite--Xtreme-Medium-Mixed---NEW-DESIGN-BRUSH_XTREME_MXHY.html

If you are having trouble with snail-trails then fitting a Super-Scraper and using the abrasive pad will remove the most stubborn of snail trails in seconds - http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/SUPER_SCRAPER.html

Ive been using a gardiners sill brush on con and fascia cleans in
the last month much lighter than my old vikan sill and nearly
as good a cleaner.

f/s/g cleans and polycarbon conny roofs then a medium mixed or stiff sill brush are good.same for self cleaning glass roofs although i tend to use a soft flocked SL when cleaning the glass.
