Since on occasion having to bring my old machine out of retirement , Mytee speedster 2 VAC built in heat., it made me think _ what's more important 3 VAC's or 2 VAC's with really good heat (without having to plug another heater in)
My conclusion is 2 VAC's with built in heater for convience and more efficient cleaning.
Really had forgotten how good the heater was on the Mytee.
This will influence my decision which new machine to buy when the time comes.
The power leads on the Mytee are really long as well _ no problem finding sockets.

Don't forget when buying new about build quality and customer service, the en vogue machine seems to be the enforcer but alltec re designed their machine internals to become more efficient and have very good heaters, just another option to make your head hurt.

Thanks Shaun ,never even knew that one existed.
One of my customers was singing your praises after you cleaned their carpets at their home. I clean their holiday house in Whitby.

Couldn't agree more Mike - I love my speedster. As far as I'm concerned it's the perfect balance of vac, heat and psi in a portable.
I bought mine in 2007 when they were the thing of the moment. I would buy another one and use the existing as back up but what's putting me off is that the heater is now only 1600w, no idea why.

Hi Guys
I have always advocated heat as being a very important part of the cleaning process.
I would not buy a machine without it!
Cheers

I have no idea either ... great way to put people off . Advertise a 1600w heater when others have 3kw or even two 3kw .
I think Mytee puts little effort into the machines it sells in the UK .... and no LTD5 or the more powerfull ones .

Hi mike,
I know the customer they live in Rotherham, it's nice to be thought of in that way and makes the job worth while. Btw the carpets were wool axminsters, twist piles and nylon in the bedrooms.
