So is the new ban on powerful hoovers gonna effect 3000 wt Guttervacs?
If this has been covered can you give me the link ,I have looked but didn't see.

Don't you send all your polish immigrants up ladders?
-
I would assume its applies to domestic appliances not commercial.
-
I asked the same question a couple of weeks ago but got no responses! ???

JD, I knew you asked on other forums, but didn't see the thread here, and I did ask for a link which you didn't get around to putting up.
I've only found the press stories which indicate this applies to domestic vacs ie.. Hoover, dyson, etc..
Industrial wet and dry vacs may not be affected, but without seeing what the euro parliament have stated then it's difficult to debate. Maybe anyone which an old 3000 plus vac should keep hold of it as it may become very valuable in the not to distant future. ( as you can still use higher power vac, just not sell one )

I don't actually have a link for it smudger or I would have uploaded it. I now can't see it effecting industrial VAC's , as surely that would put people out of business!

It only affects manufacturers,so if you already have one its no problem. :)

Hello,
Just to clarify the situation, the ban on powerful vacs only applies to dry vacuum cleaners. Wet and dry vacuum cleaners that are used for gutter vacuums are not affected.
