Visited a new customer on Tuesday & quoted him for cleaning his windows.
Agreed that I'd start cleaning after Easter.
Received letter today and cheque for double the cleaning amount. The letter was to cancel the clean as he wanted to get some brickwork repaired around a few windows. But he would call me as soon as this was done so that I could start cleaning.
Cheque was to cover my time giving him a quote and to support a new local business!!! :)
I thanked him & returned his cheque.
Hopefully a start of a long term business relationship. ;)

Hi Jon
Thanks for that.
No, I don't know him.
I've just looked at his profile but no email address or area.
There was a reference in one of his posts to being located in the North East ???
Hopefully if he reads this post he might contact me.
Thanks for your help.

We tend to price on the higher side - Big investment to recover!
Some we win - some we lose. But those we win are very happy with our service!

Steve
Im in towcester but also work in buckingham and commercial in Milton Keynes, have been wfp since xmas but only use it 2 days a week introducing it slowly and cautiously, now got a van mount, learning as i go along , been having main trouble with vents even though i wash them 2-3 times on first clean but some still trickle down after ive gone. Picked up 2 customers 2day from people who were unhappy with their wfp cleaner and i charged them £2 more.

SPOTLESS: TAUGHT YOU TO WFP NOT TO SEND CHEQUES BACK ;D what you should have done is cashed the cheque and waited for him to contact you for his windows to be cleaned, and tell him hes payed for two cleans in advance that way your sure hes going to become a customer.

Welcome back boss.
Got rid of all that naughty stuff from your computer then? ;D
I did the right thing - he's already passed my details on to two of his neighbours, booked his builder for the repairs to his brickwork and booked me to start cleaning a week later!
