Title: Back up machine for Wonderwand
Post by: heritagecleaning on August 29, 2014, 07:32:46 pm
I don't currently have a back up machine and I'm aware I could get caught out by this. The issue is that a cheaper back-up machine is unlikely to have more than 135psi and I have a Wonderwand. And I've never used a regular wand except for a 5 minute try where I really couldn't get the hang of it. Would a 135 psi machine do in an emergency?

Alternatively I can bite the bullet and invest in a bigger van and new machine and keep the existing porty as a back up, which is the braver way forward I guess.

Hmmmmm (again)

What psi do you use your wonder wand at now? and what sort of dry times do you get?

How many jets does you WW have?

What jet sizes do you have on the Wonderwand, and what vacuum arrangement will the machine have.

It's a 3 jet one, not sure of the jet size. I clean at 300 psi. No problems with dry times.

Just buy a spare pumphead and vac motor. Sorted.

Cheaper than buying a machine that'll just sit in the garage, used once in a blue moon.
