As per title. Does anybody find it works? I`ve done it a few times but don't see any results.

i paid for likes on mine the other day where it appears as an advert in right column and on the page and for 30 quid budget i think i got 29 likes

Total waste of money. There were a few on here a couple or so years ago proclaiming the wonderful fact of Facebooks ability to bring in new work. Which is simply a load of old cobblers. I'm not saying you CANT get work from Facebook but you'll do a damn sight better by using traditional methods of advertising and getting not just on to page one of google but in the top three of page one on google. Which isn't really that hard. It just requires a little knowledge and a little time.

I gain 2-3 jobs a week from facebook, but thats through spamming the buy and sell pages local to me. I think i advertise in 13 groups every other day. This method is free :)

Same here. I advertise about once a week now. Brings in some work, but the real way for me is leaflet and knock a couple of days after. Any Facebook work is from free advertising. Likes bring nothing. I've got enough likes, but the work comes from posting on other selling pages, as Windy has said.
Bateman posts on "He seeks him" pages, so doesn't get any work from facebook, but can plan his weekends easily.

I've never got work via my Facebook page until recently. In the last 2 months I've got about 3 per week.

When I first used to post on selling sites, about 2 or 3 years ago, I'd get about that many per week too. It's free advertising, and free is good ;)

Did a Facebook ad 2 years ago. Cost 30 euro ( I am in ireland) got almost 300 likes and between 60 - 70 jobs. Though not all wanted a regular clean. But all in all found it to be very useful. Even just to get your name out there. Not done it since but still get people calling to say they found me on Facebook.

I do post on it but it is not necessarily to get work. It is more for SEO reasons for my website.
