Depends what you're shipping, how big it is, how much it weighs etc. Don't forget you pay import duty and vat on top of the original cost.

Thanks Simon,registered for vat so thats ok,someone mentioned if you say the machine is for parts only you pay a reduced duty.

You won't get a Legend, no US dealer will supply you with one and you would have to forgo the warranty even if you did find someone prepared to sell you one.

Why would a dealer not sell me a legend?
It is not a dealer,its a carpet cleaner who bought a new machine,i know its risky buying unseen.I am just window shopping,if a bargain did come up if it would be worth my while?

If it's secondhand, you'd be looking at hundreds of pounds to get it over here, plus the risk of buying it unseen, rather you than me :o

That is true Simon,as i said i am just looking,There is always the chance when buying 2nd hand,even more so unseen,but you might just pick up a bargain.

Can't you source a Truckmount on ebay etc ?.
They are always coming up and it would be a sure fire safer way of buying one instead of from overseas.
