Title: Removing black mould stains from blinds
Post by: Alison Marie on August 26, 2014, 09:27:01 am
Hi, does anybody know how to successfully remove black mould stains from cream coloured vertical blinds? I live in a garden flat that attracts a lot of mould and mildew and some black mould has got on to the blinds while I have been on holiday.  I have tried using vanish to remove it, but that does not seem to work.

You can't.

Bleach them or bin them, they cost peanuts.

Depending how old the mould is, if it's old it won't come out. I've lost count of the amount of curtains or blinds I've been to view with mould damage, once it gets into the fibre it's degrades it and permanent staining occurs.
