TFR.
But Tadgh will be along shortly to educate you properly.

Not just any tfr ! Try the tfr 400:1 ratio that mistral sell. Makes a world of difference to buying that weak rubbish that a lot of the local diy stores sell ye!

I've used lots of TFR and a lot of the stuff I bought from local shops was just weak solutions, not much better than fairy liquid in my opinion! I purchased the 400:1 ratio mixture TFR from mistral.co.uk! It costs about £40 delivered for 25ltrs. It sticks to fascias etc and really absorbs the dirt and algae like nothing else I've tried. Not all TFR detergents are the same and a lot of the stuff that's sold is 50:1 and 100:1 ratio mixes that are fine for cleaning your car but rubbish for dissolving proper dirt and grime from PVC, concrete etc.

I like the Unger in line soap dispenser (with the soap pills). But the last time I said this on a post, it was deleted. :-X

Hi Darren, no its the other way around, you have educated me as now with all the pictures i took of surfaces damaged by using high alkaline based chemicals and put them together on a mail, which is being shared to many cleaning companies in Ireland and the UK. i have to thank you as the response has been great as these companies appreciate that now they have access to a product that can be used safely to clean any surface without causing any detrimental damage, so Darren as long as we have guys like you on the window cleaning section, and others from the Hard floor and carpet cleaning sections promoting high alkaline chemicals then happy days, as companies are very open today in trying to source more sustainable cleaning solutions, again Darren i have mentioned that there are many janitorial suppliers in the UK who carry safer alternatives to using harsh high alkaline based chemicals, again thank you for the idea of the photos as they are working a treat for us. Regards Tadgh

Anyone on here a recipient of the email Tadgh?
You said id be one-but I've not got it?
I really am interested to see the damage to UPVC. I have no knowledge about hard floors-indeed, i was asking questions myself a few weeks ago.

Hi Darren, i dont have any pictures of upvc mind you i did try to get some but it is very difficult to capture results on white surfaces, anyway i got plenty of other good photos on different surfaces which have been very beneficial for us when we are explaining to clients why they should avoid using high alkaline based chemicals, again i am genuine with the thanks as i should of thought of collecting such photos in the past. As they say better late than never. and no i have not shared them with anyone on the forum yet, as there are other resources outside of CIU. Regards Tadgh

The test that I'm continuing to do is on the mahogany grained colour UPVC.
I know you said white would be difficult to capture the results, thought this would be better.
I realise there are other resources than CIU but as this is the only place I speak to you, could I see some if your damage pics please?
Email is in my profile.
Or, even better, could you post some if them on here.
We could all save ourselves some grief if we saw the damage that TFR can do.

When are you going to get your website up and running?
At this stage Ross , its like how long is a piece of string :D :D
Genuinely its frustrating for us , we are a small team here and we have been seriously busy in the last year and it keeps getting put off. We have had a few obstacles as regards what we wanted to do so what may happen is that we end up putting up an interim site over the next month prior to putting up the site we envisaged
regards

Got your email Tadgh-won't open on iphone-I'll have a butchers on Mac later.
You really would be much better off just getting Nat to do your site.
Less than €500 and you'd recoup that in no time-just from CIU members from what I can see!

Take the link off your profile then.
Not having a website is fine, having one that's never working makes you look unprofessional.

Hi Darren, I have nothing against Nat, we have a company who have done our site before, it just taking much longer than we expected, but we will get there.
