What do you guys do when it comes to quoting do you actually go to the potential customers house or do you rely on customer measurements or google maps or even puncture message from customer.
I personally go to the house as I'm not really busy as it's my first year so think it's a good opportunity to make a impression.

I always go to quote, no matter if it's window cleaning, gutter clearing, pressure washing, you can never tell how 'bad' something is until you lay eyes on it.
For me it's great to meet a potential customer and you can upsell a job or explain why it costs x

Regarding pressure washing....Go and meet the client face to face.
Phone them 10 minutes before your arrival...tell them you are running late (even if you are not) and apologize , this prepares them for your arrival. So you have there full attention when you arrive .
Don't arrive tried and uninterested ready for your tea. Express real enthusiasm in the choice of fine quality paving they have and how it will enhance the home when cleaned.
Spend time measuring up...asking about other areas .
Check drainage ,water pressure etc (can make all the difference to a long or short day).
Take time Explain the process fully to them, before quoting. So they understand why you at first seem expensive but now you offer exception value for money over the last man that quoted.
