Tis the reason why any decent valeter/detailer would never use a brush on vehicle paintwork.

Mono-filament brushes have comparatively rough tips on them, which is great for glass cleaning but does not make them suitable for, painted, polished or delicate surfaces. Even the Super-Lite Flocked brush has mono-filament bristles on the inner rows.
The only brush in our range which is suitable for such delicate surfaces is the Cladding fully flocked brush - http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/Brush%20Guide%20Chart%20March%202014.pdf
With regard to your paintwork such burnishing can usually be polished out with a good application of T-Cut or get a professional in with a twin-head polisher.

looks like the autoglym will be coming out lol

I wouldnt want to use a brush on mine! Asking for trouble with a brush. I soak mine in pure water and use microfibres to wipe the crap off then rince on full pressure and always comes out perfect! And its black too(the worst colour to clean).

Christ it's ugly.

Is it a TDV8 TDV6 or a supercharged petrol guzzler?
-
Tdv8! As much as i wanted the sc i bullied myself out of it, the tdv6 was soooo slow although verey smooth but even a 1.9d scudo would go faster so wasnt for me!
I have had it remapped though which gave an extra 50bhp with performance just off the sc with 0-60 in 7.5 which im more than happy with.
