Title: turbo dryer hire
Post by: gwrightson on August 18, 2014, 07:03:19 pm

I have at the moment 5 dryers out on hire, I have of course quoted a price per dryer per day,

The customer was a little surprised but was ok with it as it is going through the insurance co.

Out of interest what do you guys per day for hiring out driers ?

What would you consider acceptable ?

Geoff.

Geoff

We charge £30 +vat per day per piece of drying equipment.

We are not, per se, in the business of hiring out drying equipment, but obviously use it when dealing with floods that we choose to get involved in.

As such, the cost reflects us delivering and collecting the equipment and the "messing about" that goes with monitoring the drying out process.

As in most instances, the hire costs will be but a fraction usually of the overall cost of putting right a room that has been flooded.

I charge the same as Rog above. But I also charge for the management of the job ( the messing around)  ;)
