Title: Can any1 confirm the make of this rotary scrubber..
Post by: Smudger on August 17, 2014, 05:32:11 pm
Following kev martins advice on how to clean sandstone I found this going cheap on gumtree..

Is this an early version of the victor sprites I see for sale now, and if so will the brushes fit ?

It all seems to work, didn't  realise they could pull you across the floor like a thing pocessed 😳

It came with what I think you call a drive board, and some pads but will require a brush if they are still made to fit. where is the best ( cheapest ) place to buy them, do they come up second hand ( only ask as I want to experiment before ruining a perfectly new good one )

Thx in advance for your input

Victor Sprite 15 inch

You need to check the speed.

What do you want to use it for?

Built to last these

Sorry just read your post, get a scrub brush, Kev Martin sells them with an attachement that fits the victor.

I'd go for a stiff poly brush, you prob won't need the drive board as you'll not use pads.

Cheers Neil - how do I check the speed ? Can't see a "data plate" anywhere

If there is no data plate on it I personally would not be using it especially as it should really be PAT Tested annually.  I sell all the brushes and driveboards for this machine.

In the meantime check this lot out because they are complete and reasdy to go

It's been pat tested, got the sticky label for that.

Just no plate as to model number, etc...  Unless this is hidden somewhere obscure

You can get a 175rpm model I'm pretty sure.

Just count the rotations
