I am currently working out of a borrowed car and my dad made me a trolly system with pump and battery. However i am running the pump without a flowcontroller, and the pump is constantly pumping every second so the water pressure goes up and down all the time. Is there any possible way to adjust the pressure switch to kick in slower so the flow evens out ??
I have tried adding a tap but its still the same

Can you not just buy a controller?

Its only for 4 days and my controller is in the van thats getting fixed.
I used to run the pump like this years ago with no problems... The pump must be set up differently if that possible

Get a flow restrictor/valve.

There's a hexagonal nut (female) at the bottom of the pump. Let your pump run with your hose and pole hose connected to it and adjust that nut so that the pump runs nicely, but shuts down quickly when you nip the hose.
It adjusts the amount of pressure for the pressure switch to kick on and off.
We haven't used a flow controller with these pumps for about three years (I think?).
