I wouldn't mention cancelling at any time.
-
I like it.
I would keep the cancel at any time thing. Reassures the customer they are in control.
-
really good that nice work ;D ;D

I only signed up to it myself a couple of days ago. I've got the link embedded in all emails now, well the GOCARDLESS image logo which when clicked on takes them to the relevant page.
-

Spot on well done ;)

Looks good Matt.
Maybe change the look and layout of it though so that it doesn't look like your windows cleaned slips? Then it will stand out more so that customers read it.

Keep the cancelation thing on there, if you say they can they never will
Out of all the DD customers not a single one canceled and all were told you can cancel anytime ,
-
Added the "cancel at any time" to my my go arsleys page so will see how we get on.
-
Are you going to hand that as a flyer to your customers or send in an email ?
It looks great and i like the wording
I tried to sign up a lady who is a bad payer in that she just forgets, i dont think she doesnt want to pay as when i called she happily knocked up a cheque, but shes going through a divorce and has young kids and by her handwriting she seems dyslexic too... so tried to say to her that go cardless would be easier but think the fact im in control after they sign up scared her and she just said she will try remember to pay. She hasnt the last 3 times though lol so a note like this is a great idea

That's a flyer they'll get when we clean their windows.
I also plan to embed it into an email to all customers whose email I have. This is a screenshot of an email where I've embedded the link to the GOCARDLESS sign up page in the form of an image into an email. I'll also put a screenshot of the flyer into the email too.

Not sure whether to offer some sort of an incentive, 10% off next clean! something like that once they sign up. Don't know. Trouble is they could cancel next clean.
-
Definitely no incentive for signing up Matt.
You're doing them a favour, by taking the hassle out of writing a cheque and posting it, or doing a manual bank transfer. Or even for some, driving to your house and dropping the money through the door.
You're also already paying for the collection service, so no way would I offer a discount.

Lance

This is true. ;D
First one just signed up. Whooraah!

I went with the cancel anytime thingy and seems to go down well with customers. I am up to 8 BUT i have only had a real small push on it. So all good!
-
Got about 25 so far.
-
Iv had 4 sign up but when iv filled in there name etc they haven't confirmed the next email so they are not actually set up,also is there a way of requesting outstanding debt?
-
If they haven't signed up they haven't signed up, you can't request money til they have.
Do what I did earlier in the thread - embed GoCardless info into emails, info about it, the link for them to sign up, you have to chase people, they're not going to come out offering you this stuff without you pushing it.

That sounds like you are filling in the form for the customer? Be careful on that. Gocardless do know ;)

I filled out the part where it asks for name email address and reference, sent that over for confirmation and heard nothing back.
I have sent reminders and handed out letters and tryed to push as much as poss but it will take time and a few more reminders, preferably face to face
