Post by: richywilts on August 14, 2014, 05:22:10 pm
just curious too know if anyone has compact enough work to be able to work with more than a two man system, was just on van trader website and came across a mercedes sprinter lwb and thought u cud prob get a couple of 1000ltr ibc in the back n have two man system on each tank but you would have to have compact work

Very much doubt you could get 2 ibc in their weight wise.

Any more than a 2 man set up is a pain.

As far as I'm aware 3.5 tonne vans have a payload of around 1.4 to 1.7 tonne so 2000 litres would not be viable

Get one of these four guys both sides of the road at the same time - probably get the secretary in there somewhere.

I think 3.5 is probably the gvw i.e. the entire weight including the van...

Anyway, a more than 2 man set up is just going to be awkward, isn't it?

Had three working from mine about a week ago. MEGA pain in the bum. Still was fun to get a " fronts only" £15 house done in about 2 minutes lol
