Title: Craftex Microsplit and poster paint.
Post by: Jamie Wiles on April 06, 2006, 08:48:31 am
Hi Guys,
Went to a customers house yesterday whose kids had decided to paint the lounge carpet with the three primary colours of poster paint while mum and dad were putting the shopping away.
Anyway, I thought I'd try some craftex microsplit 'for a laugh' just to put it to the test, before i got on with the real business of cleaning.
I was ( and still am ) utterley gobsmacked! Sprayed it down over the entire carpet, spayed the paint patches with a 'spotter' strength soloution, agitated then rinsed with cold water in my extraction machine. Complete removal!

Yes, kids water based poster paint.
Even so, didn't expect such a dramatic result with such little effort. I thought I'd need to dig in to the spotting box. Customer was well chuffed as a I charged her less than what her excess would have been if she'd made an insurance claim.  8)
