right my friends got this merlin ro today and is tap water is 300 is water pressure is 50 and the tds of the pure is 24 that before the di is that about right

Yes. If he got a pump he would get it down under 20 I would think.

I would say a little better than that down to 11 or 12 but you should also add an extra carbon pre filter before the Merlin and change them every 3 to 6 months depending on water usage other wise the TDS will creep again
