I've had a few occasions lately where new custys assume that the price for cons clean includes the roof, I explain that it doesn't need doing that often and that if they want me to do it every time I'll have to double the price as it's never a quick job and often awkward.
Just wondered if anyone else has this problem and how to go about it?

If you are having this problem I would do a check list on a A4 sheet showing all your services,
you can tick everything the customer wants done, which would leave con roof cleaning not ticked !.
It just stops any confusion usually on their part ::)roll

Just tell the customer when pricing the job specifically what is included.

'Is the conservatory roof not included in that price?' - I usually just say, 'Yes', then study their reaction...

We had a spate of these a few years ago, now our Quotation Form has the words:
Quotations do not include conservatory roofs unless specified.
They get a completed Quotation Form with other info (Rain Guarantee, T&C's, description of WFP) so there's no dispute.

Just tell them when pricing as said above. No need for more paperwork in my opinion.
I explain that we clean up to and not including the gutter on conservatories. I also tell them, when the guttering starts looking grubby it's a good sign the roof is due a clean too 😉
