Title: prices for window cleaning rounds
Post by: EVERCLEAN on July 30, 2014, 04:22:40 pm: as we all know when selling or buying a w/c round prices vary massively, I was chatting to a mate from wigan the other day who said it seems the standard price for a round locally is 9 times the clean regardless of the type of work.
what is it in your area ??

I have always gone on the following formula

year turnover /12 * 7.5 or even 8 or 9 so id say he is correct.

Post by: aftab on July 30, 2014, 05:57:59 pm: In birmingham I think you would generally have to pay at least 3.5 times the value of the round, although some windies want times 5. I think it all comes down to how much you need the work in relation to what you would pay for it.

When you take in expenses it would more than likely be a year before you would earn anything from it.

i guess for those that employ guys to work or sell franchise`s it can be seen as a long term investement. but for the the family guy who works for himself, paying 7-9 times would just take to long to recoup. each to there own and good on ya if you can sell for that though ;)

They have a board where you can advertise your round for free, work for sale is regularly on at 10x monthly clean and selling.
