Title: would you build your own washer or buy ready made

i need a small pressure washer for getting into backs of houses with no sides  entrances ect up stairs ect also could do uble up as an emergency spare machine. would you buy a ready made 5hp Honda type machine   or build your own 
say a Honda gx with  interpump  uploader ect  skid frame  or just spend 600 to 800 on a ready made I suppose the same would apply to a larger machine too anyone done this?

I've done both - whats the difference between you fitting the pump or someone else ? If you do it yourself you can cherry pick the parts you want
