Title: Buying a Grinding,Polishing Machines
Post by: Peter Lynch on July 23, 2014, 01:21:33 pm
HI,

Just looking into buying a grinding / polishing machine early next year.
I have looked at Klindex Levi and Hercules, but also came across this http://goo.gl/vlWKPT
It looks pretty decent, does anyone have any experience with this or have an opinion on it ?

I have a similar machine to that. An older DK Holdings Tornado T2.

If I was buying a new machine I would look at the Levi as there is UK support for the machine and it would do most of the work we usually get.

The bigger machine only goes out 4 or 5  times a year these days.

sorry didnt realise they have a UK agent nowadays.

The advantage the Levi would have is you can use it as a single disk machine for maintenance work a lot easier than a larger planetary.

Most of the work we do is maintenance of floor that we previously renovated with the T2 or other and then it just sits until the next large area renovation while Wirbels do the maintenance work.

@ jamie

yeah I was looking at the 20ns version , looks to be a pretty decent machine.
I have been in contact with the UK rep, and it seems to be well supported and has a great line of assesories from Superabrasive.
I was thinking of getting a Klindex Rocky to take care of the maintenance end of it. It also has a decent record.
