Title: Jet wash servicing south east
Post by: Mitchellmoxo on July 21, 2014, 10:14:20 am
Hello,

Arrived at a job this morning to find my pressure washer not producing full pressure - the pressure/flow kept going up and down constantly.

Brought it home took it out the van checked the levels etc all ok, so i start it back up again and now its fine?

So want to get it serviced just incase

Does anyone know of any jet wash service people in or around the milton keynes area?

Regards

Did you have it hooked up to a tap? Sounds like bad water flow

Or sucking in air. If it works fine now then it could be that you cross threaded a fitting when setting up this morning

Lol my apologies

Got another small job tomorrow so hoping it was just a user error and nothing wrong with the jet wash

I'm in MK but don't know anyone. I recently had a similar issue, it was the intake pipes connection to the pressure washer letting in air. I cut off an couple of inches and reattached the fixing to some fresh hose. Problem solved.

I've spoken to them about my spare machine needing a repair and service, and they seemed clued up, I've just got to get it down to them.

For the issue you have, it did sound like you were sucking in air, so I'd double check all connections, filters and hoses.

Can't do any harm to get it serviced though.
